Jer 31:3  The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

God’s love for you is the most constant thing in your universe. You can’t make Him love you one bit more or one bit less. Nothing we do impresses Him. He can’t be impressed.  He can be moved, but He can’t be changed. You can’t change His Love for you because His Love for you is not an emotion; it’s not a feeling He feels toward you, but just Who He is. And you can’t change Him.

If you shook your fist at heaven and told Him you hated Him and never spoke to Him again, you would not alter His love for you.  And likewise there’s no amount of praying, fasting, studying or worshipping that will impress Him enough to cause Him to love you more. He can’t change or be changed.

You may have turned your back on Him years ago and not given Him a moment of your time or a measure of your effort since. And His love hasn’t been affected in the slightest. You can’t change Him! Not with your sin, and not with your devotion. He never changes.

Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I think that about covers it all.
